Interested in shooting with a model, read this first…

As photographers whether just starting out or an experienced veteran pro odds are you might want to shoot with a model someday. It wasn’t that long ago it wasn’t easy to find a professional model, but thanks to the world wide web and sites like Model Mayhem it is easier then ever to connect with these professionals. Problem is while we might have a good idea on how to work our cameras, lights, and other gear we probably don’t know that much about dealing with an actual model. Thankfully one such model has posted a very informative post on her blog on such things. Her name is Jen Brook and the post it isn’t has much “don’t be a creep” as it is actual helpful tips on dealing with another human being that you are trying to work with. It’s a quick read and I would highly recommend anyone who may at some point take a photo of another human being take a moment to check it out.
