Ok, maybe only semi-random. I did bid for it.

Two Vivitar point and shoots and the item I was actually interested in - a Holga 120 GN. I was thinking about getting a Holga because they have stopped making them. Most places they are now $50-70. This little haul cost me £10 so if even one of them works I'm good.

Excited now, I just got the shipping note :)

  2. Awesome! Not the Vivitars, obviously, even I couldn't love them, and I love everything that can hold a roll of film. Holgas look to be fun, not got one myself, maybe it's time to restart the camera acquisition!

  3. I thought you might like the Vivitars being film and pocketable. I will try them both out to see what they do.

  4. I am being a big old hypocrite, you're quite right, as film and pocketable are both wins. Not only that but I also own a VIvitar, an utterly plastic "Panorama" camera" I've yet to use it, but I'm expecting results comparable to the Hasselblad Xpan.

  5. I heard that if the holga pulls in too much light (more than usual haha) the best (and cheapest way) to fix it is to find the light leak and then use pva glue mixed with black paint and it should cover up the hole.

  6. Actually, I think you were right the first time. The cameras have is arrived and the Vivitars are both cheap plastic crap and they both say "focus free" on the front - which gives me a ready excuse!

    The Holga looks unused though!

  7. I've heard that too. I'll get a roll through it and see what happens!
