  1. I just saw this too. Because I got an unsolicited refund from Google! I bought the collection in January and anyone who bought in 2016 gets a full refund - the whole £95.

Right now I actually quite like Google.
  2. That's a nice wee bonus then. Downloading just now, will have a play.
  3. its a great suite i've used it quite a bit. so glad its free now.
  4. I saw this earlier, glad you reminded me, Nik's software, at least what I've used, is the mutts.
  5. i paid $35 for one of the filters yeeeeaaars ago and then google bought it, gave me all the others for free and now they are giving the rest of them for free too.

You know what that means!?!?!? This product is probably now dead
  6. Yup, it's going out of support.

I'm a little underwhelmed with it, a couple of the tools seem ok but the rest just seem to be big collections of novelty filters and presets for hipster instagram types. Unless I'm missing something. Which I probably am.
  7. They are definitely a mixed bunch. The control over light in Viveza is really good, especially the blending into non-edited areas. And one or two of the Color Efex tools are very good as well. And my other favourite is the u-point approach to selection/brushes/feathering which is unique as far as I know.

Other than that I'm not so fussed.

Is it officially going out of support then? That would be a shame given the unique way of working.
  8. The key to nik is to build your own presets. The default ones are awful but if you bounce from one app to another you can stack them to make some nice effects
